Love at first sight
Love at first sight.

Ever felt a smile crossing across your face when a face breezes by you? The world seems more beautiful, the weather always perfect and your dream girl or guy the most wonderful person on this planet. If you are feeling all these and searching for Valentine’s Day ideas or a person for flower delivery for some time now; then let me tell you my friend, you are in love.

It can happen to anybody at any place, on any day. At first you fall in love or get attracted to the physical being of a person. As it is said appearance does matter.

After all that’s all one sees when it’s the case of love at first sight. Something catches your attention, like her smile, his physique or the enchanting eyes.

The mood also plays an important role in sealing the perfect moment. If you are tired, sad, angry or irritated your dream man or girl may pass you by without you even glancing back. The nature conspires to bring lovers closer. Also you should be open in your mind to receive love. It’s a state of mind, knocking the doors of the heart.
If you understand the previous explanation, then you may have already guessed why we sometimes fall in love with someone at first sight: simply because we found a person who met many of our unconscious criteria.
For example if a guy had dark skin and deeply loved his mother, then it’s likely that his unconscious criteria include that the girl should have white skin and that it would be great if she had some feature that reminded him of his mother. Of course it’s not that simple; the criteria can be very complex and may be formed of very many items, but I am just giving you this small example for clarification purposes.
Now what if this guy meets that girl we just described? What if he found her attractive and that in addition to all of the above characteristics, she has a great personality and is cheerful too? What’ll most probably happen is that he will develop an instant crush on her, or as we say, love her at

Attraction and the formation of relationships in today’s society is an everyday happening for most people and therefor it’s not surprising that numerous amounts of psychological research into interpersonal and social relationships has centred on romantic relationships. Researchers have found a number of likely factors that play a vital role in the formation of relationships, these being physical attractiveness, proximity, attitude similarity, demographic similarity and similarity in personality. Physical attractiveness in the Western World is of great importance and research has shown that being physically attractive is one of the primary determinants of whether or not you develop a relationship with someone. Investigations have shown that physical attractiveness makes people more popular and applies to both platonic and romantic relationships. A study done by Brigham (1971) found that physically attractive individuals are thought of as being generally attractive and being sociable, exciting, interesting, poised and sexually warm. Cunningham (1986) examined the particular features of men and women that make them attractive to the opposite sex and found that in relation to women what men found most attractive were large eyes, small eyes and a small chin, whereas for men, women looked for square jaws, small eyes and thin lips in terms of attraction.…

There are many reasons as to why we form relationships with a person. Appearance is one of those reasons. Most people claim that a person’s personality is the main reason why we get into a relationship with them and not by the way they look which is really not true. There has to be some type of attraction towards their appearance because the way they look is extremely important in the early stages of a relationship. Even if your appearance isn’t considered beautiful by societal standards, people will find you attractive if you’re just ordinary-looking with an amazing personality that fits the other persons needs. Attractive beauty may open doors to a relationship but it takes way more than just being attractive to keep a relationship going.…
