What do you like best and least about the Lower East Side Tenement Museum website?
I could not find the virtual tour online but I did look at pictures. The best part about this museum is all the antiques and replicas of how immigrants lived and how much living space they had. Some people don’t realize how much living space immigrants had to live in especially with huge families to raise.
It is hard to find a least favorite part about the Lower East Side Tenement Museum due to how realistic they made the museum. Though, this museum only tells some immigrants stories and not all. I got a good aspect of what kind of people moved in, but this museum should show how immigrant’s lives were not only in New York/ 103 Orchard St. but also all over the country. It should show how other parts of the country treat immigrants, what laws/ their effects on immigrants in America and how the rest of the world treat immigrants immigrating to their countries. I believe this would create a more realistic approach to tourist seeing how lucky their lives are and how hard their ancestors lives were to
