Using this to please his people he also creates fear by showing the strength of the US to other nations in the world. Making sure they know that the only superpower country in the world is the United States of America. The other concept that Machiavelli’s talked about in his book was that a leader needs to “talk petty”, in which he must convince people that he as all different forms of characteristic traits, even though he may not have them, the leader must act in a way in which it as if he has them. In the case of Trump's voters/supporters, they are on his side no matter what he says or does. In the article, it says, “Trump voters regularly don’t believe him, but Trump voters remain Trump voters.” No matter what laws or regulations Trumps wants to pass, people still believe that he is still one of the best presidents the United States of America ever had.
