Made Up Family Narrative Essay
Before i had a family, i dreamed of my "made up family", having a joyous time. Well that sure made me understand perception can alter your true life experiences when you go thru real situations. My point being, it was June of 2015 last year, and my small family and my mother planned to take a trip. My mother resides in New Mexico and we live in Las Vegas, so the demand for togetherness was of a longing feeling. One could say even mutual. When all the plans went thru we were on our way to Las Cruces,N.M. We were initially going to pick up my baby daughter. She had been with my mother for a few months and daddy was missing her. At this time i had'nt seen my family in 16 years and they were interested in meeting my wife and kids for the first …show more content…
So when that episode was done we continued along the way. In Arizona there is alot of deer traffic, and my kids were facinated by these beautiful creatures just walking or me stopping so they could get a better view. I was very excited that they we excited. To see their faces amazed was the highlight of my trip. When you opened the car door you could smell the pine trees, i thought i was in a pine cone commerical. Then my family saw the mountains big, strong, and wide. They we captivated and in awe by how magnificent and majestic they stood out. I was used to it since 16 years prior i drove from Texas to Vegas alone and experienced the magic so to speak. Right before we make it to New Mexico we almost run out of gas and im glad i had an app help guide me to a station. The needle was showing that we were on E. Im strong in my own mind but then i felt scared because i feared we would be stuck alongside the highway. Almost there 20 miles away and i hadnt had a ounce of sleep, my mother and family were disappointed that i had'nt stopped. I told them im like any man we go and wont try to stop for rest. Even though its the rational thing to do. My family loved meeting my family and we enjoyed ourselves, i don't think any of us wanted to

The phrase to “set himself free” is used a lot throughout a bridge to Wiseman’s cove, whether it is to do with family issues or just common everyday tasks. Since I grew up in a family with an abusive father, my response to conflict differs from most people. My father resolved conflict by shouting, degrading, and often physically abusing the other person. My mother’s response to conflict was to try to settle a compromise or walk away until her own frustration was no longer there. I think based off the conflict responses I observed growing up, my responses are a mixture of my parents. When in an intense argument with someone, I attack their character and then silence them out. Family members play a big part in how we resolve conflicts, because a good portion of our lives begin by us spending time with and watching our relatives. We, as a society, adapt skills and mannerisms from those closest to…

My family environment has influenced me a lot especially when my siblings were born. I am the oldest out of five, so I'm always look up to. I always had to make a good example and never show that I was scared. When my mom and stepdad had to work, I would take care of them until they came back while getting my schoolwork and practicing my instrument done too. I never really had a chance to be a kid, I always had to be a mother to my siblings. I would always wish for more time in the day for myself, Although watching them grow up from when they were small and started school for the first time made up for that loss time. I live up to a quote, "Be the master of your future, not the slave of your problems." My senior year I had to stop being…

She is definitely the devil incarnate herself. Cunning, calculative, witty but annoying. An insufferable know-it-all. Sometimes I couldn't help but wondered how on earth could I be still sane under years of torture she gave me. She has caused our family countless problems since the day she was born. She is bossy, always wanted to manipulate the others. She is nosey too, just couldn't mind her own business. Last fall when we were preparing our winter clothing, she was like “all of you must listen to me and get this and that or else I would torture you all with my scream”. Definitely not a lovely kid at all.…
