At this point, I wonder what this company has to offer me. I have always known about Macy’s, but not in depth. My original research of the company’s history, background, and culture took me off guard from what I was expecting. It caught my attention when I read more about their corporate social responsibilities. Why would this matter to me? Personally, as a single individual, I want to make an impact on the world, to make it a better place. I have the mentally that I would to make a difference, so at the level where I am at, all I can do is volunteer locally. I would love to be part of the Macy’s team. Washington, DC is an amazing place. When I first went to DC, I was in shock of everything I saw including the historical places. The fact that the monuments and history is there is what makes the capitol such an awesome place to visit. The beautiful white walls made of marble and all of the people surrounding it was really a great sight. When I arrived at the location a strange feeling came over me. I was looking at history in a different level than before. When I think about a memorial, a word that comes to mind is remembrance. Seeing the statue of Abraham Lincoln made me think of history class and evoked thoughts of what it would have been like to be him or in his shoes.. I was surprised by how big the statue was and how grand Abraham Lincoln…

Currently, the National Mall has many monuments; however, none of the monuments include powerful woman figures. If a monument were to be added to the National Mall, it should be one of a powerful woman; a woman that has made great change and contributed to this world. Mary Jackson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Katherine Johnson created important mathematical data to launch some of NASA’s first successful space missions. If it were not for those three powerful African American women, we may have not known about the wonders of space. If a monument were to be added to the National Mall, it should be of “human computers,” Mary Jackson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Katherine Johnson. If it were not for the influential women, Neil Armstrong, Alan Shepard, and John…

Next, after deciding I decided I would see how people standing in a line would react to me violating their space, so I went to various fast food restaurants to see. This is where the reactions were very minimal more discrete. While standing in line I would keep getting closer and closer to the person in front on me until I got some kind of reaction out of them. Most of the people would just step forward or to the side slide to avoid me without any other kind of reaction. Where the standing in lines seemed to be different then sitting on the bench is that the people in line were able to take one or two steps to protect their personal space.…

My church was having a trip to Six Flags and I didn’t want to miss it. Since we are in Killen and Dallas is a 3hr drive we decided to leave early (I’m guessing that’s the reason why). I got to church sometime around 6:30- 6:45 and left sometime around 7:00. We talked, listened to music and slept like on any trip. And it wasn’t all that exciting till we actually got there. Since this was my first trip there, i was VERY excited and anxious to ride the roller coasters. So we got there and walked around and decided to ride the titan. The Titan was the craziest roller coaster of them all. Now when you’ve never been on a roller coaster, the one thing you don’t know is that, they are MUCH bigger then they look. Before I actually rode the Titan, I did not think we were going to be so high up. We just kept going up..... And up..... And up...... and up..... And up.....…
