Man And Woman
Differences between Men and Women Men and women are different, so they are treated differently by the society. The gap become more apparent as they grow up, in the way children are raised today. Boys and girls start to think and speak differently, because of the influence of the environment. Society denies any differences between a man and woman except the obvious structure ones and that men and women have equal rights and abilities. Equal rights are indisputable in our civilized world, however, the abilities of the two sexes really differ, the majority of cases scientists agree that differences in abilities, behavior, thinking, perception and, of course, structure and physiology are physically and genetically conditioned. Truly, if to think about it, the matter is that the structure of a man and woman differs even less than their psychology. There is actually little difference between girls and boys during pre-puberty age. Except for primary reproductive organs, babies are nearly indistinguishable. Grown-up children of 5-6 years are also very much alike in their body structure; we may say that the difference is more between adult people and children of the pre-puberty age than between these children of different gender. However, the difference in skull features begins to develop, providing a more feminine or masculine face. The height and weight of such children are very similar and the growth rates are slow and steady. During childhood the body proportions of boys and girls are different from those of adult men and women. The head is proportionally large and legs are proportionally short. These features affect the balance of the children and their movement. The muscles are poorly developed, including the inner muscles. In the period of puberty (age 10-14 for girls and 10-16 for boys) more differences between girls and boys appear. First of all, under the influence of gender hormones the secondary sexual characters develop: girls experience breast growth
