Mario's Sorrowful Life
For me, the world is an apple means the world is a temptation. Temptation where our firmness, affirmations, and even faith will measure at all times.
The situation of Mario's life in the story is a sorrowful life. However he wants to change the state of their lives and adhere into goodwill whether how kindness his purpose is, at the end sin or mistakes will always a sin and wrong deed.
I can say that Mario's life in the story is not far from the story of Adam and Eve on how they are tempted. All of us commit sin, and us everyone says “all of us are born in sin”. However, it is still on us if what to choose. It is always in our hand that fate does. The world is full of temptation and all of us are trailed in any different ways. Do not blame

The play “Romeo and Juliet” is a devastating love story. In only a matter of few days, to be precise 5 days, unfortunate events unfold. The feud between the Capulets and Montagues, one that no-one knows or what started the feud, caused violence and hatred among the citizens of Verona. Nonetheless, there are people whose actions help lead to the tragic fate of the star-cross lovers and other unnecessary people. People who don’t think twice of their actions until after the consequences. Maybe, just an inference, if they just thought about their actions, the play may have had a different ending.…

He acts like a friend and an advisor to both Romeo and Juliet. He is the one who married Romeo and Juliet together and helped them through all the challenges they had to face along the way before both of their deaths. Because of this he takes responsibility and is to blame for both Romeo and Juliet in many ways.“So smile the heavens upon this holy act/That after-hours with sorrow chide us not!“ (Act 2 scene 6, line 1-2). In this quote, Friar Laurence is marrying Romeo and Juliet. He is saying that heavens are happy with this marriage and so that nothing unfortunate happens later to make us regret this decision. Friar this whole time was helping Romeo and Juliet be in this hard relationship that would never have worked out but he still helps them. Because of this, he is to take fault in their deaths because of the many mistakes he made one being marrying them.If Friar didn't help and approve of the relationship they could not have died the tragic way they did. Another reason that Friar is to blame for Romeo and Juliet's death is when he found out Romeo didn't get the letter. “Unhappy fortune! By my brotherhood,/ The letter was not nice but full of charge,/ Of dear import, and the neglecting it/May do much danger. Friar John, go hence./Get me an iron crow and bring it straight/Unto my cell.”…

A key symbol in The Giver is the apple, for its ability to symbolize change. For example, when Asher and Jonas are playing catch with it, Jonas sees the apple “change” mid-air, and then return to its original state. The author Lois Lowry states,”But suddenly Jonas had noticed, following the path of the apple through the air with his eyes...the apple had changed,”(30). Jonas is finally seeing beyond, and he is interpreting the color red for the first time. Another reason the apple represents change is because since Jonas can see the color change, there was a flaw in the genetic engineering, which also means that the Elders failed at creating a “perfect” race and society. The apple helps us realize that change is necessary to humanity, because…

The feud, the cause of tension between the Montagues and Capulets, puts the characters into situations that occur because fate steps in. Romeo is put into one such situation when his closest friend Mercutio is killed by Tybalt. In a fit of blind rage, Romeo is “forced” to kill Tybalt out of loyalty to Mercutio, not something he originally planned to do: ‘I do protest I never injured thee,/ But love thee better than thou canst devise’ (III, i, 65-66). This leads to his banishment. In desperation, the lovers turn to Friar Lawrence for help. But things do not go as planned and Romeo and Juliet kill themselves. Romeo believes that ‘there is no world without Verona’s walls’ (III, iii, 17), and no world without his Juliet. Thus, although they took their lives out of their own free will, the love brought upon by fate overpowered rational thinking. Preferring death to life apart, Juliet declares: ‘Prodigious birth of love it is to me,/That I must love a loathed enemy’ (I, v, 139-40), an example of how fate has dealt them opposing families which would never allow them to be…

Friar’s tragic flaw is directly responsible for Romeo’s and Juliet’s decision, and impacts the play’s tragedy. One of Friar’s flaw is a fixed perception that the only way to bring peace between the two families is to secretly marry Romeo and Juliet without parental approval. When the situation did not progress as planned, Friar’s superiority and stubbornness cause him to fail to realize that he should advise them to change their approach towards the situation. Not only did Friar not realizes his mistake, he still is convinced that Romeo and Juliet should escape and live their own lives. Il Postino stands out in contrast to both the previous texts as its vision is quite optimistic. Mario is able to rise above the limitations of his world to realise his potential and become happy. The film does begin in a gloomy manner as Mario struggles to communicate with his withdrawn father – their relationship is strained. When Mario shows his father a postcard from America, his father tells him to get a job – he is ‘not a child anymore.’ Mario’s father earns a meagre living as a fisherman, similar to the Mundy’s house, his home is sparsely furnished and they have just run out of water. Family life here resembles Lughnasa more than Lies of Silence. The relationship between the two men is problematic while Mario is living at home but it noticeably improves when the son marries the love of his life, Beatrice. We are presented with an uplifting image of joy when she becomes pregnant and Mario listens to the sound of his baby’s beating heart.…

But the friar is not the only one to blame if Romeo and Juliet hadn't made their decisions so hastily then maybe the consequences wouldn't be so violent. People like the Friar tell them to take thing slow but they don't listen, “Wisely and slow. They stumble that run fast.” They knew that there love could never work because of the feud between the two families but they continued anyways. If Romeo hadn't made his decisions so quickly like killing Tybalt then he wouldn't have been banished form Varner and Juliet would not have to take the potion and fake her death. If he had told his friends that he was in love with Juliet and then Mercutio would have understood why Romeo was defending Tybalt and he would not have attacked him. If Juliet had been more respectful towards her father and till him that she was in love with another man, he many no have pushed her to marry Paris.…
