Twain thought very cleverly, he tricked peoples minds very well. Think about him being almost identical to Tom Sawyer. There was a story about Tom Sawyer. He was painting a fence and these youth came up to him, Tom Sawyer said "I bet you guys can't paint as good as I can." Those boys wanted to prove Sawyer mistaken. What the boys didn't know is that Tom just wanted someone else to paint the fence instead of him doing it himself. When you think about it Sawyer was a trickster, just like Twain.
Twain was the type of writer that liked to write adventure books. For example he wrote the books "The Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn", "The Adventures Of Tom Sawyer", etc. Maybe he thought his life was adventurous himself. Or maybe Twain even wanted to adventure places before he became a writer. He had really unique characteristics. For example, he was smart, he liked pulling pranks, which I talked about earlier.
