1. Introduction & History
RND Berkat
1.1) Introduction of the product
“RND Berkat”, is a company incorporated in Malaysia. They are producing local carbonated drinks containing less gas and less sugar. This company is one of the companies under the auspices of the SIM. There are seven flavors of carbonated drinks that have been produced, which are ice cream soda, grape, apple, Sarsi, strawberry, orange and cola. Before this RND Berkat only market their product in the state of Kedah, but now they have expended their business throughout Malaysia.
The price of one bottle carbonated drinks is RM 0.60, but the retailer, the agent or the wholesaler who buy then resell it will setting the price with differently according to the place.
For now, RND Berkat still do not have any trademark for their company. For the time being their company only produce carbonated drinks, but they will have another product like cordial drinks, coffee and etc in the future.

1.2) The history
RND Berkat is a village company that has been operating since 2009. The founder of this company is Encik Mohd Kamaruddin Bin Shaari. The headquarter of this company is at Kedah Darul Aman. “RND Berkat” means “Rezeki Nikmat Dunia Berkat”.
At first the idea to open up this business is because of the passion of the founder to do a business. He started the business with his own capital. The recipe he uses to produce carbonated drinks is come from MARDI and some from his friends, and then he has changed the recipe a bit to make it different from others.
