It worked; Luc was entering the cave when he heard a soft whimpering coming from the corner. Luc bent down so not to appear immense and threatening. “Don’t cry puppy I have come back for you.” The puppy only weighted maybe 25lbs, but the shock of her jumping on him startled him and he fell back on his butt. She started licking his face and wagging her tail. Luc lifted her up and sat her down next to him, “Phase, we need to talk.” The pup phased to a girl and sat next to Luc, he noticed her clothes torn and dirty. Her appearance made him want to cry. She needed a shower and clean clothes. “First we need to get you into my bedroom to shower and find you some clean clothes.” She looked down at her clothes and felt shame at her appearance. She had always wondered what it would be like to dress as the humans did, of course, by the time the wolves were done with the humans their clothes were no more. “What is your name?” “Demi, it means half, my mother propagated with a dog and I’m the result of her experiment. Methylenedioxymethamphetamine, commonly referred to as ecstasy or MDMA, is a synthetic drug that primarily performs as a stimulant as well as a hallucinogenic. The desired effects include elevated empathy, feelings of extreme euphoria, and heightened sensations. The effects of taking ecstasy generally occur after 30-45 minutes of taking the drug, and last for about 3-6 hours. ecstasy was officially patented in 1914 (although it was created in 1912), by the German pharmaceutical company Merck. Ecstasy was created in hopes of being an appetite suppressant. In 1959, Merck researchers contemplated the possibility of using ecstasy as a stimulant, which was not its original intended use. It was also rumored that ecstasy was possibly used to keep aviators alert, but there is no actual evidence to back these claims up. Beginning in the 1970’s, ecstasy’s main use was for refining psychotherapy. But, in 1972, ecstasy was discovered in Chicago by police. The use of ecstasy was steadily disseminating, but it persisted in being a rather rare drug. Starting in the early to mid-1980’s, ecstasy became more and more widespread. The drug was no longer being used for its original use, rather for the recreational effects that it offered. When ecstasy was illegalized in 1985, it became even more widespread. Ecstasy was now…
