In American modern society, accomplishments such as obtaining an undergraduate degree were once scarce, now this accomplishment is considered by most to be standard. With each passing year, to get an entry level position in today’s job market is more competitive than ever due to this increase in the amount of people with undergraduate degrees. A Bachelor of Science or Arts degree now has the same value of a High School Diploma, and having a Masters degree is now considered as the standard to attain a decent position.
