• As a Health Information Manager I learned to use basic clinical knowledge of disease and surgical procedures to clinically code medical records. Through the application of ICD-10AM coding and Health information Management studies I can apply this knowledge and understanding to childhood development and contribute to project design, implementation and generation of reports. In the years of study I have developed a very strong work ethic, curiosity and willingness to learn as I believe in the power of consistent professional and personal development.
• I am currently in the process of applying for a Working with Children’s Check and a National Police Check which I will forward to the respective persons immediately once they have been obtained and cleared.

I have had previous basic experience working with early childhood professionals. During my placement at St John of God Geelong Private Hospital I was able to spend time with various early childhood professionals through collaboration and team meetings. I was given a basic overview of their job roles, the meaningful impact of their role and the outcomes of early childhood intervention to improve health outcomes. During the meetings I was exposed information in which I have maintained to a high professional standard to commit to the confidentiality of information presented.
• In my current role as a Schools Partnership workshop facilitator I demonstrate my experience in facilitating workshops and training.
I have received formal training in conducting creative problem solving workshops for a demographic group of year 9 and 10 students for up to 25 in class size. The workshop involves a dynamic communication between the facilitator and students to engage them in a 90 minute workshop to develop real world skills. Through engagement and asking meaningful questions, I facilitate the workshops in a way that trains the young students to think creatively and use evidence to support their justifications. I am confident with this experience I will be able to effectively facilitate workshops as part of the projects within the multidisciplinary service systems innovation
team.
• During my university studies I have demonstrated my project management skills through the process of planning, motivating, organising, allocating resources and following basic protocols to achieve the specific goals of my university projects. My project management skills were developed specifically in Team University assignments which involved a specific outcome achieve and deadline to follow. The project my team had to compete was to analyse the validity of ICD-10AM coding for comparison with gold standards of reporting requirements. I collaborated with my team so that we could establish an effective action plan to delegate work requirements. This was organised into specific block outcomes and by allocating time for each team member we were able to collate data and deliver a team presentation of the findings.
