The internet has no age restrictions. Anybody can use internet in the technology era. Aged of using internet is getting smaller and smaller. Children of today are not playing Barbie doll or paintball games again. Their toys are ipad, iphone or other technology video games. Material that is uploaded on the internet should be monitored and censored. Firstly, we should protect the young minds not to be polluted and do not let them get the wrong message. It affects the young minds behaviour negatively. There are too many unhealthy video, such as porn and violent movie on the internet. Children’s though age will become earlier because of their high curiosity. It is too easy for people to get such kinds of video and movie. Children will follow and copy what they have watched from the movie. It is indirectly affects their health. There are also many sexual online games on the internet. They will naturally be indoctrinated. In addition, young people will use internet to attack people, it will make the victim hurt, but also their family. It starts from a person, but it will be continuing by other people. For instance, write some bad things to hurt people through the internet because of personal reason by using a fake account. That is the scared of internet. Everything that uploaded to the internet will be share it very fast around all over the world. Secondly, it is to protect the interest of the internet users. An idle person will uploaded something that is unreal to attracting attention from others. When the post has been seen by two or more people, people will automatically trust that that is true. People do not know about what is true and what is fake. For an example, an entertainment reporter takes a photo of a famous movie actor and edit it. He writes a report about the movie actor is a gay in a news. Fastly, it will spread by word of mouth. And yet, people will start to believe that it is true, even though the party stand out to reverse, people will not trust him. The truth will always be buried. Some other example such as internet learning are also have unreal website. They can upload the video or a passage to teach people keep fit, but the way of keep fit is unreliable. It may be has some negative effects hiden in the body. Nobody will care about what is the truth. People just share it for fun. Therefore, there is no more truth on the internet. Thirdly, internet should be censored and monitored for national security. Internet abuse for political has a certain effect. Many of terrorist group and other extremists are now trying to use internet to widespread their ideas and make the hearts of people shaken. Not only the terrorist will do that, politicians also use internet to farming someone else to gain what they want. This is the one of the reasons that affects a country’s development. As the result, the social unrest and the hearts of the people in the country become uncertain. We should notice that some of the sensitive questions is not to the public. These sensitive issues will become a terror fuse and it always lead to war. Lastly, monitoring and censoring the materials that uploaded on the internet will reduce the number of piracy. People will download or copy the information from the internet for their own use. That is a wrong action for using the internet. We can use internet for searching more information or detail to increase our knowledge, but not to copy it and says that is yours. For an example, some of the people upload music, movie, picture on the internet to the public so that the internet users are easy to get free download for these music and movie. So, what is the purpose for the consumer to pay money for going cinema to watch movie or buy a genuine CD? Everything has their own patent, it is a copyright from a person or a company. “Name” also has copyright, we cannot simply use a people name or a company name to do anything. To sum up, protect the young minds for not receiving wrong message, protect the interest of the internet users, care for national security and reducing the number of piracy are the reasons why internet should be monitoring and censoring of the material that have uploaded on the website.
