Meadery: A Short Story
The guard gave me directions to Ivarstead, head to the meadery, head south to Riverwood then Helgen and finally go east through the mountain and turn north on the other side, he advised I would pass the abandoned meadery just before Ivarstead. He also told me that is where I go if I want to climb the tallest peak in Skyrim, the throat of the world. Not long after passing the meadery I met an afflicted refugee who told me he was off to the shrine of Peryite, when wolves attacked he coughed some vile green poison at them, I was glad to leave him behind on the road. I stopped by the river to have a drink of water and saw a strange shine, exploring further I found a cave entrance and stepping through a waterfall I was in a small cave, I decided to explore here further in the future and moved back to my quest. …show more content…
The air is definitely getting cooler as I climbed higher, much colder and my nipples will poke holes through my leather corset, hah I’m sure some people would like that. Seriously though wish I had bought a cloak. It felt like I had been walking for hours when I notice the snow was thinning and soon there was no snow on the ground and not long after I saw the north path heading to Ivarstead. And minutes later I saw the damaged meadery, guarded by a hostile bear. Having dealt with the bear I investigated the grounds and saw that while the outside and one wing were damaged most of the structure was fine. A note pinned to do the door directed anyone wanting to buy the inn to see Neldam Dorvayn who was staying at the Vilemyr inn in

A few days ago my father was employed as a cotton weaver at the largest factory in Manchester. He was only taken in unless me, his nine year old son would also join the business. So today was my first day at the factory and I was only there for three hours as I was a new employee. As I walked through the entrance you could hear the loud clatters of metal and the constant banging of wood. The smell was foul and you could see a stream outside. I was taught the different machines and how to use them, the owner of the factory was Mr Oakmore, he was fairly large with a long black beard. He told me that I was going to work on the third floor in section 7; I was going to be cleaning the thread and wool that go underneath the spinning jenny where it isn’t used. He also told me that I had to get here by 5 o’clock exact otherwise there will be consequences and finish at 5’oclock in the evening. We also get an hour and a half lunch; Mr Oakmore said that they give the workers only the best meat and food that the cooks can make. It took me only a few seconds to get from one place to another under the machine. My father worked on the ninth floor working as a cloth maker, he would sow the thread into a cloth and then die it in different colours. I earn about 3 shillings a year whereas my father earns 12 shillings a month.…

My level was definitely not ready for the diamonds, blues were my style, not too easy but not too hard. The lift up must of taken at least 45 minutes. The air blowing on you when you are already as cold as a snowman made me feel frigid. The trees swaying in the air and the smell of hot cocoa as we passed a rest stop on the hill. I was so anxious to get to the bottom and sit in a warm room, but excited to show my moves. When we got to the top we realized we had gone up the wrong lift, and that meant the only way down was the black diamonds. Furious, I knew that I was not going to enjoy the way down. “You knew didn’t you?” Blaming everyone around me. Then starting down the slope, falling at least twice every minute. My face was red and I was unable to see anything, the fear of frostbite overtook me because I was so cold. Just waiting for this to be over with! Tress appeared out of nowhere and snow made its way through my gloves. My hands were as cold as a witch’s heart. I must of made it down after 400 hours of tears and madness. When we got down to the base of the mountain there was Sam and my Dad waiting to go to lunch. My stomach was not up for it after tossing and turning. I just wanted to go home and be alone, so off I marched to the hotel room. Waiting for them to go down one hill and come back. I was left with an hour of heat and a hotel room all to myself. Might of sounded extravagant now, but it seemed awful at the…

Many would venture to say it is undeniable that Presidential campaigns and elections is something that is never fun. The amount of money, time, effort, and hard work that goes into everything can make things very demanding. In addition, not knowing if you will be victorious makes things even worse. However, presidential elections can be very jaw-dropping; as is the case with our two candidates currently running against each other. Generally, I would venture to say that no one saw this coming. A presidential race between Trump, and Hilary—two individuals that don’t sit to well with the American People. Furthermore, I believe that it has gotten to a point where if Hilary wins, there will be an uproar; and if trump wins there will be an uproar.…

I take this opportunity as a very proud student to thank the other contributors whose value addition in the making of this project cannot be undermined. Let me start with my parents who sent me the financial back-up to study in this university and arrange facilities so that I can study and flourish without much trouble, without which I could not have possibly been able to compile this project. Next come my batch-mates who have contributed both intellectually by discussing on the topic and non-intellectually by letting me have all…
