Meet Ernie Meaning

Meet Ernie a fourth grader from Alabama, he is very polite, and shy, that is until he found a new app called Call of Duty. The only problem is the app cost forty dollars, and Ernie’s parents would never allow him to buy the game. His parents are all about him being active and playing outside with the neighborhood kids. This angers Ernie and he becomes obsessed with with getting the game and doesn’t go outside for three months. He becomes very rude to neighborhood kids, and his parents which doesn’t go well. This what happens to kids that get to attached to devices. They start to ditch their friends, and the outside world.

The line of the song I chose was “Hey whatever happened to waitin’ your turn, and doing it all by hand.” This line urges the thought of where did manners, and older traditions go. This lyric describes me because I was raised to think you have to work hard and not know how something's going to work out until your done. This also describes me because being polite will get you respect that you and others deserve for hard work they do. Also there are traditions missing like saying please and thank you when getting something and not taking other people for granted. This also describes me because I like to think
I think this relates to me because I believe that you have to put a good amount of time into something whether it’s a sport, performance, or a test, the time you put into that event is how the score is going to turn out. Also this relates to me because I like to practice an event like I’m going to perform the next day flawlessly. This also relates to me because I was raised to think if you start something you have to follow through. Finally this relates to me because I try to get kids involved in an activities such as 4-H or FFA especially if I know they will excel at
