My theme song is "Getting Better" by The Beatles. The Beatles were an English rock band formed in 1960. Throughout the song it talks about how school is hard, but it gets better. In the song it says "Filling me up with rules/Ive got to admit it's getting better". Those two lines mean that the school is making too many rules and that the students don't have any freedom, but it gets better. This relates to my 8th grade experience because when I started 8th grade, they had a bunch of rules. Two weeks into 8th grade, the school let 8th grade have more freedom and it got better.
I've seen some bullying in this school before and these lines explain similar things to bullying. I used to be cruel to my woman/I beat her and kept apart from the things that she loved/Man I was mean but I'm changing my scene/And I'm doing the best that I can. The man is being cruel to his woman and he tries to change his ways. In this school I saw someone bullying a fellow student and a few months later. I saw them again and saw that they were friends. This shows that enemies can become friends.

These lyrics relate to my school life. I used to get frustrated from hard homework because I couldn't figure out the solution. A teacher helped me with the homework and now I'm getting better at
