Melinda's Relationship With Her Father
The home life of Melinda is after school she goes home and her parents leaves her a note for her to get food or something she needs to do. “Pizza. 555-4892. Small tip this time. There is a twenty dollar bill clipped to the note”(Anderson pg.14). I say that Melinda doesn’t get enough social talk with her parents instead they talk with notes. This is bad because then she can’t have a relationship with her parents.
Melinda orders her pizza and eats alone at her house on the couch even though she isn’t supposed to eat on the couch. She justs flips the dirty side of the cushions of the couch to eat, until she hears her dad’s jeep is coming. She flips the cushions back to the pretty then bolts upstairs up to her room.
