Memorable From The Film 'Remember The Titans'
One idea that was memorable from the film “Remember the Titans” was the moment when there was racial unity amongst the two races White and Black. This was memorable because it displayed unity.

At the beginning of the movie, there was racial unity amongst the two races (black and white), these races were separated based on societies view on Black people. This soon changed after the players recognised each other’s differences, personalities, and talents.

When the black and white schools were migrating, white American football players felt as if their positions were in jeopardy, a quote Garry “With the schools migrating and all, some of the players are worried about losing their starting positions.” and showed racial unity during the first

The information presented in this article was something that did not surprise me. I have always been aware of the bias in sports when it comes to athletes. White athletes have always been considered the more mentally capable individuals. This stereotype has always shown in the analysis of the players. A white and non-white quarterback could have the same amount of athletic ability. The nonwhite Quarterback would be described as an “athlete playing quarterback” when the white quarterback would be described as “very athletic quarterback”. Throughout sports you will see white players in the position that is most control of the team. Non-white players often fill the rest of the roster when they 're “natural ability” is more of a factor on the team. The analysis of the bias is merely a reflection of the product that is on the playing field every Sunday. 81 percent of the teams in the NFL have white quarterbacks. So their analysis of the bias in commentary is an accurate representation of what’s on the field.…

Secondly, Remember the Titans was an extremely memorable movie for anyone who has watched it, and it conveys the thoughts of this quote perfectly. This movie is about a white school and a black school integrating, and a football team coming together to form one, strong team instead of a segregated, weak team. The first example of this quote applying to this movie was in the characters themselves. When going to football camp, the black players had been sitting on one side of the bus while the white…

If we don’t come together right now on this hallowed ground, we too will be destroyed.” His effective style enables him to eliminate hatred among players. How the black people unite with solidarity is one of the only good things that Griffin experiences as a black man. It keeps on leaves him depressed and confused. Nevertheless the important theme of the story is that even in an environment defined by racism there are good people out there. In the movie Remember the Titans there is an example of a group conflict that arose over integrating races. The group conflict was within the newly formed high school football team from the integration of two high schools within the community. Basically, when the schools were combined it led to the uniting of the black and white football players from each of the two high schools to build one, cohesive, and strong team for the school and community. When the integration first took place, not only was the football team at odds but as was the community. Coach Boone had taken the football players to training camp at Gettysburg College. There Boone showed the players how they could get along and look past the color of skin and look to the real person inside. It wasn’t about what color you were, but how you played the game of football and what kind of attitude you had. The turning point of the conflict, when it became functional and started to work in a positive way, was when Boone took them on an early morning run. He took them to the battlefield where hundreds of people died so that we could all be here today and live the way we do. These soldiers got past race, religion, and other inconsistencies of life so why not this football team? From there on, the players began to see life through a different view and started to come together as a team. As the football team united, the other students in the school, as well as the entire community, began to come together out of support for the team despite this racial conflict.…
