Two part response to “Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus” In an article entitled, “Men are from Mars, Women Are from Venus,’’ John Gray explains in what ways men and women differ from each other. He says, women complain about men that when they talk to them, they do not pay an attention. Men complain about women that they try to change them all the time. He compares men and women to Mars and Venus respectively to get an idea. John Gray explains, Martians are significant having supremacy and develops their proficiency to accomplish their goal. For Martians, when they reach their goal by themselves made them satisfy. Because of such a characteristic, men deny when women offers help and correct them. He says that Martians wear uniforms to reveal their work rather than different apparels as Venusians do. John Gray says about Martians “they are more interested in “objects” and “things” rather than people and feelings” (186). He says that Venusians believe in relationships, communication and love. John Gray states that Martians hang out for business talk and Venusians for familiar and open conversation. According to Gray, offering help to women makes them feel beloved and valued, while men feel pathetic, despicable and useless. Venusians believe in if something works is always wo men then he feels like he is weak and broken. Indeed, she is making mistake by thinking supporting him to grow. After reading, “Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus’’ my experience is different from John Gray. In my view, men and women are equally created, but with different attitude. I completely disagree when author says, “Instead of being goal oriented, women are relationship oriented’’ (187). Though I am a woman, I am very goal oriented. My goal is to study and devote my time to my husband and in-laws. It is impossible to choose one of them if I asked. The reason is both of them have similar importance for me. Gray says, “Venusians are very intuitive’’
