Auschwitz was the most notorious and violent Nazi death camp racking up a death count of 1.1 million people. Auschwitz was visited by Joseph Mengele “The Angel Of Death” Auschwitz was the most efficient killing camp. The nazis took pride in Auschwitz because of the harsh conditions.
Auschwitz was most known for its gas chambers were over 400 people could be killed in less than 15 minutes. The gas chambers used Zyklon-B gas. Zylon was very efficient killing a full grown man in minutes. Zylon has a feeling similar to being strangled to death or drowning.
An evil man named Joseph Mengele was the head “doctor” at the camp. He was trying to change the birth percentages so that every mother will bore aurulent twins to make up for the war casualties. Mengele was deemed The Angel of Death or The White Angel because of the gruesome experiments he performed. He went up to children in the camp pretending to be “Uncle Mandelle” and invited the children into his car and then took the children to his lab and performed experiments. He froze, Burned, Gassed, Took overwhelming amounts of blood, Sew unnecessary body parts onto people, and gave countless shots of unknown medicine, usually killing. …show more content…
Auschwitz had two main camps.
Auschwitz Berlin and Auschwitz 2. Auschwitz 2 was more feared. The camp was like Auschwitz one except the prisoners were treated even more roughly. They had little to no food and worked twice as hard. The labor was much worse as well.
In summary Auschwitz was the most terrifying and well-known Nazi Camp. Mandela visited and experimented on children. It used gas that felt like it drowned you. And the camp two camps. Concluding my statement Auschwitz was a horrifying
