Sick Around the World
After watching "sick around the world," I do agree with the image of the U.S. health care system that is portraying in the video because there were many comparison and differences shown as Reid's goes into each countries. In my opinion, the countries that he went to explore the health care system is better than the U.S because of economy. I think countries who have stability in their economy tends to have a higher chance in helping people. This is because the
U.S. economy is decreasing each year that people rely their help on the government and also I believe that medical help is very expensive. When Reid went to the UK, I had question concerning about their health care system because I did not agree that a doctor should get paid more if he/she gets good results. I do not agree with this because I feel doctors should get pay the same to do a profession job and also the feeling of neglect if a doctor do not have any good results. Two things that is not so great about the U.S. health system is the price and waiting time.
I think people today are very demanding and impatient that the system is not effective in this part. The price of medical expenses is the same as waiting. There are patients that pay thousands of dollars for their exams that waiting time is a waste. Unlike Japan, what I like about their system is the fast pace exams and urge to help people. I think their system is very stable on how they layout. Like I mention earlier, each country based their health care system on the amount of money the citizen is making. As Reid enters Germany, it shows that the only way people can afford health care was by the rich. There is never a balance class in this world because of how people are in this society. Another thing that the U.S. have the most problem with is poverty because we can never figure out why the rich are getting richer by the year rather than the poor always staying the same. We can say
