The slideshow “Context and Causes of the Mexican Revolution” states, “Most Mexicans remained laborers and farmers, and became increasingly poor.” This piece of evidence supports this reason because it talks about how many people became poor, because they were mainly laborers and farmers, this definitely shows that people in Mexico were becoming increasingly poor because of conditions and wages. Yet, another piece of evidence is, according to the slideshow “Context and Causes of the Mexican Revolution” it states, “Mexicans began to protest Porfirio Diaz’ harsh rule and push for more land, better working conditions, better wages, and to gain more liberty and freedom.” This piece of evidence supports this third reason because it states that people were fighting for better working conditions and wages, which did lead them to protest and fight for what they believed they earned. These pieces of evidence prove that, many people became poor because of wages/conditions because it shows Porfirio Diaz could've helped to change those wages and conditions for all the people in Mexico that needed to provide for their families, but couldn't because of how much money the “rich” people would get paid, even if they didn't deserve it. Many of the “poor people” got less for working harder, which definitely doesn't make any sense
