He tries to make us have an emotional impact because of the place where Dedrick was raised. But he doesn’t mention how welfare reliance significantly went down and the poverty rate went down as well. In one scene of the film, there is a part where Moore interviews Charlton Heston and makes him seem like an inconsiderate person after he asks him why he spoke at a NRA convention after the shooting of a little girl. That actually didn’t occur. That specific part of the film was staged and completely false.
