Some think That competitive sports help Middle Schoolers in Academic ways, but others might think that competitive sports for Middle Schoolers are dangerous and parents should not allow there under aged kids to play Competitive sports. The big question that everyone is wondering about is should competitive sports be allowed for middle Schoolers, or should be banned instead.
If I had to choose between kids in middle school playing competitive sports or not, I would want all the kids who are committed to playing competitive sports whenever they like. If I were a parent and my children wanted to play a competitive sport, I would most surely let them as they please.

Livestrong.com states that “When a child wins a game with his team, he feels accomplished and recognized(Article 3)”. This builds up a kids confidence when they when a game and just cheers them up when they feel down. It also makes the whole team feel important. A second statement from livestrong.com is “ Even when he doesn't win, he can learn a valuable lesson: that you can't win every time(Article 3)”. This confirms to those who play that they should not expect to always win a game when they expect it.My very last example from Livestrong.com is “Losing with his team can also increase self-esteem(Article 3)”. This builds up the child's endurance and makes them wonder what can I do to improve for next time.
In conclusion, Competitive Sports should most definitely be allowed from kids in middle school to play and enjoy. If any kid wants to play the sport they want to play, I say go ahead and play. Competitive sports are healthy and will always be delightful to play for any kid of any
