Midwinterblood By Marcus Sedgwick: Literary Analysis

In the novel, Midwinterblood by Marcus Sedgwick, shows great criteria in all of its thrilling stories, but only one of them stand out the most and it is setting. In all of the short stories the setting takes place on Blessed Island. "This is the first thing that Eric Seven about Blessed Island."(Page 3). Here is another quote to support my reason a little bit better. "He marvels at it, because if he had been God (though he's very glad he's not) and he were designing an island, Blessed is just what he would have drawn"(Page 69). When reading this book you can easily see, as the reader, that the setting repeats itself over and over again.
