Migliore Online Dating
Migliore’s advice for individuals dating during the 21st century is to not judge so quickly. “Not giving people chances is one of the biggest dating mistakes our clients make. I think it really takes people three dates to really get to know somebody, because on the first date people can be nervous or over share. People are just so quick to judge and they don’t slow down and take the time to get to know someone and realize how different it can feel on a second date versus a third date,” Migliore mentioned. It is easy to write someone off from a bad first date, but try two more and then decide if you want to see them again.
The four individuals who shared their online dating stories also have advice so others don’t make the same mistakes as

Fergueson recommends being upfront from the get-go. “Be pretty upfront about it. The sooner you can meet the person, the better. I ran into a couple situations where it had been two months of communication and then finally going on a date with them and believing you’re in a committed relationship even though we’d never met in person. That was always odd. Be as honest as you can be with a profile,” Fergueson said. It is easy to bluff online, but doing so creates unforeseeable roadblocks down the road.
Similarly to Fergueson, Morey has been on dating apps for a few years with minimal luck.
Morey advises being supportive of individuals that choose to use dating apps. “The online dating scene is very different for each person, each sexuality. No matter who you are. If someone says they met someone online, be supportive. It’s the thing to do now. Just because they met someone online, it doesn't mean that they lack social skills. It’s just convenient. It’s nice for college students, especially in a town that isn’t meant for college kids. It’s nice to be able to go to Portland and have a reason to go,” Morey

This allows individuals the chance to travel and meet people they wouldn’t have had they not joined.
While Morey is still looking, Leslie and Anna can reflect on their experiences with using dating apps together.
Leslie and Anna suggest using the apps without any expectations. “Don’t expect anything. Have fun with it. Be open minded about people,” Algercias said. “If you don’t expect anything, then you’re always surprised with what could happen. Relationships happen when you least expect it,” Rigger said. This outlook can make the process more fun and results in less disappointment if you don’t find the one.
While each individual had their own experience, finding a significant other depends on how much effort, time, and money one puts into their search. Some find their person early on, while it can take more time for others. Go on many dates and enjoy the experience. You never know whom you might

In the essay “Digital Dating: Desperation or Necessity?” author Christine Hassler addresses the stigma held by the younger generation about the use of online dating. Hassler argues that in this age most communications are ruled by technology. She points out that those in their 20s are the generation that founded social websites such as Facebook and MySpace, therefor there should be no stigma surrounding other online resources. Though Hassler cautions to be smart while dating online she believes one should be open to the possibilities it may bring. Online dating allows you to get to know a person without superficial judgments to get in the way. In closing she warns, “be who you are on and off line.”…

I think people should be very careful. Meeting strangers face to face in social situations is good so long as you size them up, look at their body language and how they interact with others. See their friends as this will tell you a lot about them. Before considering them a romantic possibility it is better to get to know them first as friends and find out what they are really…
