This could be from driving a car, to playing golf or painting a picture. For example, when painting you need to concentrate on the way you hold your brush and the strokes you make when applying the paint to achieve the picture youre trying to create. However you can't think about it too much, because your mind might wander to times you didnt create the image you wished to create and this might distract you and ruin your present piece; but you cant not concentrate at all, there needs to be an equal balance. Once the peice is completed you have to accept the way its turned out and if you try and do what you did before on a new peice you wont be present for the new one. These practices involve setting aside a certain time to sit silently with awareness of our breathing. These practices help strengthen your concentration and make us do nothing but be in the moment and we can only be in the moment when we can put our minds in rest from the constant thoughts running through. Once in the 'meditation process' you can then notice the business of your mind. Dont try and forget about or judge these thought, it is about observing them and about putting your mind in a different mode in which we just see our thoughts as a simple event not something that is taking over
