Many American get impatient with elderly. For example, Their is a line for the check-out counter and this old lady has been unloading the groceries for 3 minutes with a clerk helping her with the burden but then a younger woman complains that the elder is taking too long.
Seniors often feel like they aren’t listened to by the younger generation. As explained here, a young inexperienced worker is being advised by an older, but more experienced worker on how to work with heavy machinery on the worksite but he ignorantly dismissed his advise. 10 minutes later he came back to him and said to him, “will you teach me how to work with heavy machinery?”
