Mise-En-Sequence Of 2001: A Space Odyssey
The Dawn of Man sequence of "2001: A Space Odyssey," is said to be the best 15 minutes ever produced. Dawn of Man has almost every example of mise-en-scene throughout it. The example of mise-en-scene that stood out the most to me would be Props. The nest one that caught my attention would be the Setting or Set. Lastly, I would choose Behavior-Human Figure.

The first reason I chose props is the monolith. This prop really caught my attention in this movie and I have never seen anything else like it in another movie. The use of this prop was very creative and in a unique matter.

    Within this assignment I will be giving an analysis of the mise-en-scene and sound in the opening sequence of ‘Brick’ (Johnson, USA, 2005). Mise-en-scene is a French term originating from the theatre that literally means ‘what’s put in the scene’.
