As seen in “I am Malala” the Taliban viewed many schools in Swat Valley as invalid so, they have taken matters into their hands to build their own school. This school is a training facility for children to become suicide bombers and members of the Taliban. The Taliban takes advantage of poor families, specifically those with lots of children, and convince the parents to enroll their children. In return, they supply the children with food, shelter, and a monthly payment to the parents. The children are shipped far away from their families, who do not have enough money to bring them back home. This is a smart move on their part because since the students ( boys age six and older) could not afford schooling, they would know nothing but what they were taught by the Taliban.
