Watching movies at you're home compared to watching them in a movie theater is a completely opposite and different experience, and I'm going to talk about all the factors that make the two experiences different. The things you can have during the movie such as food and drinks are different. I'm going to talk about watching movies at home verses watching a movie at home. Specifically the atmosphere and availability of certain things. In the situation when you're at home and you watch a movie the atmosphere is more comfortable and open. You can change the volume to whatever you want, and choose you screen settings. A factor that adds to the comfortable of watching a movie in you're home is the access to changing the temperature of the said “atmosphere” to you're liking. Also you can lay or sit in any position you want so you will be completely comfortable. Another thing about watching a movie at home is that you can have as many people you want free of charge. Watching a movie in a theater isn't as comfortable verses watching a movie at home. You can basically sit in one general position, sitting. Which adds to the whole effect of what happening in the movie. When comparing how comfortable you are in a theater or at home watching a movie at home is the better options. But when you compare how the atmosphere feels, its a more realistic experience in the theater with all the

Placing your arm on both armrests in the movie theater is ugly. When theater 2 already has every seat occupied, taking both armrests places our comfort over our neighbor’s. While we grip two cupholders as Rey and Finn narrowly dodge laser beams, our neighbors cradle their buttery, family sized popcorn and fizzing, extra large coke as we shake and squeal. While we watch Star Wars with glee, our neighbors sits without the comfort of an armrest.…

Movies should be treated as a luxury commodity, meant to invoke feelings and thoughts that otherwise would have been left dormant and untouched. From comedies that bring you joy to sci-fi thrillers that keep you up at night, movies obtain their value by how successful they can engage their audience. While much of this is dependent upon the movie itself, where you experience it can play a vital role in your idea of its success. Comfort and affordability underscore the movie-at-home scenario, but these things do little to enhance the primary purpose of the movie. Where that sense of feeling and connection to the movie are important to the person watching it, the movie theater will always offer the most superior experience.…

Movies are a rollercoaster ride that transcends people into a whole different world fresh out of somebody’s imagination as seen through the genres of horror, drama, and science fiction. The movie business has allowed us to break through our burden of everyday life. Movies have a powerful ubiquity within human culture. Movies are stories. Movies are people who come out with ideas about something they want to say. Movies are a form of communication. It's been that way for as long as movies have been around. Movies are different things to different people, and that is what is so incredible about them. To me personally, movies are about escapism. Movies are about sitting in a theatre, watching a story unfold with people I don't know. I know that for those two hours, when I watch, I don't have to worry about what is going on outside. I lose myself in what I'm watching. Movies can educate too. They tell us things we never could have known. They tell us things we might not know, and they give us a way to explore the past, the present and the future.…

First and foremost, there is no productivity value whatsoever in watching a movie. While you watch a movie, all of your attention is focused on the movie with little room for any other action, save for eating and drinking. This is necessary if one wants to enjoy the full entertainment value of a movie, such as the plot, the special effects, and the visual 'candy', the performance of the actors or even just the actors themselves. As such, you spend 2 hours, maybe even 3, just sitting and storing at moving pictures on a screen, growing fat and healthy.…
