Mitch was one of Morrie’s students before he was diagnosed with a serious illness. In college Mitch and Morries relationship was unbreakable. At graduation Morrie mad Mitch promise that he would stay in touch. After that day Mitch lost touch with Morrie, changing their bond with one another. When Morrie became sick and was dying Mitch heard about it and started to get back in touch.
