It is just a condition that many people seem to be born with. For the majority of people, there are no symptoms. This is amazing considering that there is literally a deficient valve in the heart. It is truly incredible that the heart could withstand something like this and still function within proper boundaries. Even the most severe cases of this condition produce only mild symptoms of possible dizziness or chest pain. If I can go 27 years with this and be, for the most part, completely fine then how can there be any doubt to anyone that the human heart is just a remarkable machine? Most of the human body is fascinating and can take your breath away as you study it and learn how it functions, but no other organ in the body displays the sheer determination and resiliency that the heart does. To be able to function nonstop, without ever once failing, for over 100 years is just mind boggling. No human machine ever conceived could compare to the human heart. It will do its absolute best to always take care of you so why in the name of everything that is good would you not try to return the favor and take care of
