Computer & Printer Woes…
You will not have an extension due to any computer or printer problems.
No ink? You have multiple days prior to the due date to solve this potential problem.
No internet night before it’s due? Don’t wait until the night before it is due. You will only need internet to retrieve the document if you failed to save on a flash
drive.
No paper to print? Ask me, I can give you a few pieces to bring home IF you don’t wait until the night before.
Have a game the night before? Plan ahead or stay up late when you get home.
These types of “emergencies” are a result of poor planning; in other words, they are “emergencies” that can easily be avoided. Have foresight, and if that doesn’t work, then be resourceful in the last hour.
Possible solutions:
• You may use any of the computers in my classroom before school, at lunch or after school.
• You may use the computers in the library before school, at lunch or after school. Bring money if you need to print. No money with you? They will allow you to charge.
• Send your document to a friend or neighbor who can print for you. (Do not send to me to print for you.)
In other words, there really are no excuses for late essay submissions.
