Mock Interview Analysis
Paper IV During my mock interview, I believed what I did well was that I spoke clearly and enthusiastically about my experiences and skills about the job I was applying for. I also talked about their music and expressed on what type of music I enjoyed listening to which help me start a conversation with my interviewers on what type music we both liked and also which instruments we enjoyed listening as well. But most importantly in my opinion, I believed what I did well was explained my past projects on how I planned shooting schedules, script development, and scouting locations as well handling a job under pressure. Lastly, what I did well on showing my interviewers on how much knowledge I have in directing, which resulted in handing over …show more content…

Lastly are known to be Singers, Social Workers, Therapists, and Writers. My secondary color was Orange. The characteristics are that they want the freedom to choose the next action and Seek to have impact, to get results. They also have the ability to notice and describe in rich detail, constantly seeking relevant information. Their strengths are in ability and language. But in a restrictive environment, they get bored, restless and stressed due having to sit for long periods of time can result in their inattention. Lastly, they are actors, comedians, commercial artists, and musicians. The true colors actually fit my decision when it comes to choosing a career, due me having the same characteristics on being authentic (blue) as well as having the ability to notice in details (orange). But in career and color, I believe that I’m an orange due to having chosen the career as a director in which the orange characteristics focus on ability to notice and describe in rich detail. Even though as I also want to be a writer, which falls in the blue category, I tend to enjoy acting and directing more which falls in the orange category. So when it comes to deciding on which career I want in the future. I believe the true colors give me a blueprint on which careers are the right choice for me due to the characteristic on both colors in which if I look back to my past career choices, they tend to fit with my jobs that I used to

The fact that my favorite jelly bean is yellow says something about my personality. Firstly, yellows are not usually outspoken. For instance, when my friends and I make plans to hang out I only say something if asked even if I do not like the plans. That is how I act in most if not all situations. Secondly, I have trouble making decisions in a lot of situations. In fact, I spent up to thirty minutes deciding if I wanted to go to a rodeo when my mother asked if I wanted to go. I tend to take as much tie as I can to make decisions I did with the rodeo issue. Thirdly, I attempt to understand why someone thinks the way they do. As an example, my friend mentioned his favorite character in a game was different than mine, so I asked my friend to describe…

Examining my personality, it is immediately apparent that the color that describes me best would have to be of a blue hue. Many aspects of myself, from my quiet nature and mellow outlook on life, to my desire for knowledge and creative drive, are, in my mind, tinted with a cool blue. Out of all of the blue hued Crayola colors, however, I find that I most associate myself with the color periwinkle.…

Taking the True Colors Personality Test I found out my color is blue. The personality of people with a blue tends to have issues in being a lone and having the attention of others. They tend to be emotional and have great empathy of others. This is great to have for me working in the medical field as a nurse assistant. I know how to care for my patients and know how to carry certain empathy for those in need for someone to care and listen. I would love that type of care in return if I or a family member were in the hospital.…

One of the most interesting things I have learned this semester is the ability to interpret personalities through colors assignment. The color prediction about my personality was gold. After reading through the descriptions and interpretation of the colors I discovered that my personality overlapped through 2 other colors. The gold color predicts that I purposefully plan ahead. Before, I was unaware of the fact that every day I usually have a paper in my pocket with things that needs to be done for every specific day; also I effectively use the electronic calendar on my phone to plan for future events. I also understand that the reason I plan ahead is because I want to be organized, prepare and effective in everything I do. However, my personality also overlaps with Green color which predicts that I love working alone…

I needed to decide on what kind of job I would enjoy as well as be skilled at. I love helping people and working closely with people, so I decided that a regular office job would not suit me. I need something to challenge me and hold my interest. My academic strong suits are science and math; it would be best if I chose a career that is science and math oriented. To help with the decision, I took the True Colors personality test. My results were Green, for my dominant color, and Blue and Orange were tied as my secondary color. My dominant color, Green, implies that I am analytical, abstract, curious and a complex thinker. My secondary colors, Blue and Orange, signify that I embody traits such as being energetic, hands on, nurturing, and honest.…

Individuals that are considered 'blue' are symbolic and collaborative. I believe that this result is accurate because of my actions and personality relate to its provided characteristics. In addition, one of the characteristics stated ‘drawn to nurturing careers’, which means individuals are choosing careers that want to help people, which I want to do as well. Receiving a letter under your door marked “URGENT” is never something a young college student wishes to see. Well, not too many days ago, the first of hopefully not many was slid under room 302. “Christopher Lane, your presence is expected in the third floor common room for an important meeting.” Suddenly my heart sank as I thought to myself what I could have done to be mandated to this random meeting the second week of school. The evening had finally arrived, as I grabbed a seat in the room (towards the back) and waited for a tall, grey-haired man centered at the front of the room to speak. He glanced at us and asked “Why do you think you are here”, the room was silent. He spoke again, “You’re here because you may need tips on how to study, because most of you have never done it the correct way”. At this point I was thinking this guy must be a jerk, to come in here and tell me I have never studied correctly. However, I soon realized I was totally wrong. He was a man with a plan, asking us to try it, and his name was Bill McCarthy. This study plan McCarthy introduced will help students achieve higher grades in lecture classes by helping manage time in a reasonable manner and promote a hardworking attitude.…
