I know that many people think magic is only in fairy tales and Hollywood movies, but it’s a very real thing in this world.
Though, magic isn’t like Hollywood portrays it. Witches aren’t green and we don’t eat children. Magic also doesn’t happen instantly and usually doesn’t have glitter. The amazing thing of magic, though, is that you don’t need a spell for everything. You just have to put out the energies you wish for to the universe, or gods and goddesses. Though, you could use specific herbs or stones to enhance the energy and either draw or repel energies and wants. Although a book of shadows is not necessary, it is an amazing place to
start. The history of magic goes to beyond when they started recording history. It was used for healing, protection, love, and so much more. As time went on, people also evolved and so did magic. Many were told it was the work of the devil, and would damn you to hell. That we could turn you to the size of a mustard seed with just a glare. Soon, magic became taboo, whether it be a healing spell or a curse. Many innocents were burned and hung, whether or not they really practiced the art. Soon, witches went into hiding and rarely were public about what they did. Though, as time progressed and people became more accepting, wiccans and pagans started coming out from the darkness and embraced who they were. Even though the world is in the situation of such destruction to destroy all the adventures, memories, and so much more in these books, I would hope that I would be able to save The Modern Witchcraft Spell Book: Your Complete Guide to Crafting and Casting Spells by Skye Alexander. I wouldn’t save it only for myself, or to just spread the use of magic just for the sake of it. I would do it to spread the hope that one day, books would come back just as magic did.
