In my own opinion, I agree with the above statement that is money cannot buy happiness. Because I think that money does not equals happiness and money does not mean happiness.
Although some people may have some different opinions, they think money can buy a lot of things which can make you a better life and feel happy. I strongly disagree with this point of view and there’s several examples can prove my view.
First reason is that we can share our happiness with our family members, friends and girlfriends (boyfriends). When I graduate from university and get my degree; when I find a good job; when I make some new friends, my family members, friends and I will feel happy. This kind of happiness may not cost us any money but can bring happiness to us and enjoy that moment together for a long period of time. Another example is I have a friend called Xu. She got married with her husband one year ago, I felt so happy when I attended her wedding ceremony and they have a baby right now. This also makes me happy but money cannot buy it.
Second, Even though some rich people have lots of money and own a big business, they may not feel happy. For example, if my parents are rich and they need a lot of time to take care of their business, it means that my parents have few times to spend with me and I have few time to share family times together and talk to them. This will make me unhappy because I can’t get love and care from my parents, money cannot buy these things.
Third, I think those people who have faith are often happy without much money. Such as you are interested in a sports team, you must find some happiness, but you do not need to pay for it. For example, I’m a crazy fan of a Chinese local soccer club called Shanghai Shenhua FC. When I stand in the stadium; when I support my team by chanting and with my fellows, I feel so happy and excited; I feel proud and glorious. Can money buy these things? Absolutely not!
To sum up, my opinion is
