For example reforming of the jury system is an ongoing issue within the courts. Refining the jury system to make sure that jurors are representative of the community and assuring that there are enough jurors on a daily basis without needless inconvenience. Another problem with the jury system is that they may judge the person on trail. A juor shouldn't be judging the defendant without evidence but most jurors stick to stereotypes and just assume. An example of this is also in the novel Monster when O´Brien states to Steve that he was young black and on trail. That shows how most likely the jury already thought he was guilty.
