Motivation is an essential part in each organization as it channels all the energy towards reaching organizational goals as well as reaching personal goals! Motivation at Work leads to larger productivity, full attention and enthusiasm. Motivation can be done through job rotation, job empowerment, job enlargement and enrichment. Motivation can be outer or inner. Generally, outer motivation is given by the leader. But the inner one is called intrinsic motivation and is generally done by the person themselves.
Attitude is linked with Motivation. These are beliefs, feelings and action tendencies of an individual or group of individuals towards objects, ideas and people. They tend to persist unless something is done to change them. They can fall anywhere along a continuum from very favorable to very unfavorable. These are directed toward some object about which a person has feelings and beliefs. An employee’s attitude defines his interest in work. It also shows his focus and leads to his increase learning and potential in all possible manner.
