Motivation Essay
When I first heard about American University in Bulgaria from my friend, I became interested in it. Next week there was a presentation about it in American Councils. Then I realized that studying in AUBG is a really good opportunity for improving the skills I've gained in high school. According to the presentation, AUBG could give me high-level education, which is much harder to get in Tajikistan.
Graduating from AUBG would be a good start to have a stable life, to become a functional part of a modern society, to be a useful citizen and a responsible person.
Considering the fact that the American University in Bulgaria offers a unique educational experience, I believe it is the perfect place for me to begin my higher education. AUBG combines the professionalism of international faculty with the values of liberal arts, while creating an environment rich in different cultures. Thus, studying here will help me have global access to both cultures and academics, which will provide a foundation to enter the business world not only as a technocrat, but also as a well-rounded professional, with International exposure.
Furthermore, AUBG is one of the universities that focus on the leadership abilities of students. Since applying for, and participating in the FLEX program, I have been determined to build strong leadership abilities, and I am sure that AUBG will help me accomplish this goal, by providing opportunities to become involved in civic activities. Besides, the major in Business Administration is specially created to meet the needs of the global market, and I am optimistic that it will help me do so. I personally have a vision of myself managing my own business, and I am confident that the education received at AUBG will equip me with the skills required to enter the fast paced corporate

I just wanted to follow up on our conversation in regards to Roy Walluk’s evaluation. Luci Fink in payroll, received separation documents for Mr. Walluk. Since he is at a Pay Increment step, Luci contacted Corey to verify if we had received an evaluation so they can process the final pay at the correct pay rate. When I received the message from Corey, Luci had already contacted the Foreman, Joseph Johnson, to ask for the evaluation. Mr. Johnson had stated he didn’t have an evaluation ready for Mr. Walluk. Luci informed him that she would process the separation as she only has a couple of days to process the final pay for a separated employee, per the contract, and she couldn’t wait until the evaluation gets finalized. Motivation in learning plays a vital role. There are many personal motivational factors that influence the learning process both in and out the classroom setting. Motivation allows students to become positive about their own learning. Motivation can come from anyone or anywhere for example schools, teachers, friends, community, administration, and from parents. When someone receives motivation they are more likely to receive good grades, motivate others, and have better self-esteem. “Rarely does one hear parents complain about their pre-schooler is ‘unmotivated’ “(James Raffini 1993). When children are young that is the best time to motivate them because when you motivate them when they are young they are more likely to become better in that subject matter when they get older.…

One of the most wonderful things about higher education in America is that it varies from institution to institution. There is no “one size fits all” college experience as each individual university has its own standards and traditions, making it easy for anyone pursuing a degree to find the college that is right for them. At nearly all American schools, there is a seemingly infinite list of degrees to choose from as well, many of which can be tailored to meet the students’ individual needs and interests. Perhaps this explains why so many international students choose to study at American institutions. Every year, the US Department of State’s Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs receives nearly 25 million inquiries from hopeful students around the world interested in studying in America (“Why International Students Come to Study at American Colleges and Universities”, Brain Track, 2011). Equally, statistics show that more international students study in America than in any other country in the world. While many similarities do exist between American and International universities, the American college system surpasses all others in quality, flexibility and diversity, as well as being far more culturally expansive, making it the best place to attend school at a college level.…

There is a philosophy engrained in every course, and it is the philosophy of critical thinking. Through the teaching of humanities and social sciences, students are forced to think outside of their bubble and to see world and social issues through a different lens, and to critically assess its merits. Students are taught to do away with their prejudices and critically evaluate situations and events. AUB is a breeding ground for this type of thinking, and it is an invaluable skill to teach to your students. Furthermore, AUB has a vibrant clubs community, and that is something that I did not see in other universities. It is impossible to find a club that isn’t aligned with any of your interests, and there exists a multitude of them, from astronomy to robotics, and dancing to Model UN. These clubs give students the opportunity to grow and experience new things, while also giving them the opportunity to be organizers and managers of a small-scale…
