The movie Shooter was released in cinemas on March 23, 2007. The movie Shooter is directed by Antoine Fuqua and based on the novel Point of Impact by Stephen Hunter. The movie Shooter takes place in North Eastern United States, with an army scout on the run. The army scout is wanted for the attempt of the assassination of the president. This movie takes place in the twenty-first century and is filled with action and suspense. In essence, the movie Shooter is great because of the amazing action scenes, the realistic feel, and believable characters. Thirty-six months after Donnie Fenn’s death Colonel Isaac Johnson, who is a tall, slender, and older man, recruits Bob Lee Swagger, a tall, dark haired, athletic trained army scout sniper, to end an assassination attempt on the president. During the time looking for the assassin the Ethiopian president is shot and killed. While in the chaos, after the assassination Bob Lee Swagger gets shot twice by a local police officer. Bob Lee Swagger manages to run away wounded, but now he is wanted for the assassination of the Ethiopian President. Furthermore, while Bob Lee Swagger is on the run he steals Nick Memphis’s car and gun. Nick Memphis’s is a rookie FBI agent with an average built and has dark hair. Bob Lee Swagger manages to escape to Sarah Fenn’s house where he recovers. Sarah Fenn, Donnie Fenn’s widow, has brown hair and is medium height. During the time Swagger spends at Sarah’s house Memphis begins to find “holes” in Swagger’s supposed assassination of the Ethiopian President. Swagger and Memphis meet when Swagger has to save Memphis’s life because he’s been kidnapped for knowing too much about Swaggers innocence. After the kidnapping Swagger and Memphis try to prove Swagger’s innocence. In the meantime, Sarah was kidnapped. In particular the movie Shooter’s actions scenes were intense. One great example, of an action scene from the movie Shooter is when Swagger and Memphis are in Virginia.
