A. What is Multiple Sclerosis?
a. Multiple Sclerosis, also known as MS, causes a feeling of numbness throughout the body, deterioration of one person’s balance, muscle control, and sight.
b. Multiple Sclerosis affects nerves of the brain and the spinal cord.
c. In 1873, it was discovered in England by Dr. Moxon and in 1878 by Dr. Edward Seguin in the United States.
B. Different types of MS
a. One type is exacerbation of multiple sclerosis which is when someone starts to have problems with their normal physical capabilities. This can last from at least one day to a couple of weeks.

G. People with MS
a. People with multiple sclerosis have symptoms that can be single or multiple, they can be harsh or moderate, and this can last for a long or short period of time. People’s vision may become blurry or they may lose sight in one eye. Also people experience muscle weakness and numbness throughout the body.
b. Patients can have verbal trouble and can have a feeling of dizziness. Another complication is that people could become paralyzed. Also people encounter bladder and bowel issues. People also experience trouble with their memory and have trouble with concentrating. Some other symptoms are memory loss and depression. When people encounter memory loss, they could lose their ability to remember things immediately or the ability to retrieve stored information. Also some people’s speech may become slurred or difficult to understand.
H. Diagnosing MS
