Like stranded on the island, plane crash, but it has just male children on board. These children are around 6-12 years old, literally all the grown-ups had died throughout the plane crash. One of the boys that I’m going to talk about is about Simon. In the beginning of the novel, a “beast” has been known running around in the jungle. Giving the boy nightmares as the were on the island. Well I guess later on the novel, the boys has been afraid of the beast just waiting to kill them. So during a thunderstorm, they were doing some type of ritual (what I would they would doing). In the ritual they were chanting these words like, “Kill the beast! Cut his throat! Spill his blood!” They had a person acting out as a pig, pretending as if they stabbing it with spears. I feel like they had lost their minds and somehow lost their senses. Out of the blue Simon came out of the jungle, he was to tell them that there was a person on a hill. “Lords of the Flies”, like I said, takes place in an isolated island. Due to a plane crash, what was left was a bunch of children on the island. They are all male kids running around the island. Piggy doesn’t actually have a name; it hasn’t been said throughout the novel. How Piggy died was that, at some time the hunters become what, over power? Like became some what savages out there in jungle. Roger, one of Jack’s hunter squad, he became losing his senses. Like I guess one of his past personality was being a bully towards his classmates in school. Well what Roger did in the island was that he was throwing rocks on this ledge at these twins, making them startled. Doing that made Roger feel power running through his veins. There was boulder on the ledge, I supposed, and down under was Piggy. Roger, using the lever, he made the boulder go down. Squashing Piggy’s head open, to which I believe his brains came out. I feel like it’s manslaughter. Roger lost his sense in jungle, maybe because the lack of civilization in the place they are in there. During this event, I feel like he knew what he was doing.
