He decided to marry his cousin. He couldn’t wait to be in power and he just started killing everyone that was ahead of him for the throne. He killed the King that was currently in power that was about to die, Richard killed his two little boys so that way he could be the next in line for the throne. Clarence was wrongfully arrested and jailed by his brother, Richard. When Clarence sleeping one night he was awaken by a terrifying nightmare. He thought that Richard had sent two henchmen to burst into his cell. Clarence starts begging for his life but one of the henchmen stabs him. Once the assassin stabs him he wanted to make sure that Clarence was dead, he drowns Clarence in "malmsey-butt" which is sweet wine containing severed heads of two hogs.
Another example of Murder is in the play Macbeth, Macbeth wants to be in power so bad that he can’t wait for Duncan to pass away on his own. So, Macbeth invited Duncan over to his castle for supper and Duncan went to bed. Lady Macbeth decided to get the guards drunk and use their daggers too kill King Duncan in his sleep. So Macbeth waited for the guards to get drunk, use their daggers too kill the king and then staged the murder too seem like the guards killed King Duncan. Also in Macbeth Banquo is out riding with his son Fleance, when he is cornered by three murderers who were hired by Macbeth. Banquo is slaughtered and Fleance escapes.
