Born in Miami, Florida, this monstrous construction worker was serving an extensive sentence of imprisonment in the Woodblock Jail in Florida after the brutal murder of a couple.
In the middle of a chilly night on November 13, 1979, 65-year old James Hart’s mutilated body was found lying on the floor in his room. The throat was severed by three cuts, the face was gruesomely mutilated and the lower part of the abdomen was ripped open. His newly married wife, Eliza’s bloody body with 27 stabs wounds was also found lying on the bed. The police and the senior detectives believed that the motive was for revenge, knowing that Eliza was John’s fiancé before she broke up with him and married James.
Fortunately, the gruesome murderer, John Stewart Gladwin was taken into custody because of the efforts of the police and their swift actions.
The cold blooded murderer was sentenced for life imprisonment without parole.

Then, he climbed down the drain pipe and over the chain fence and went to the shore, where a raft was already set up and assembled.
It was clear that the jailbreak had been planned carefully and expertly, as the fugitive knew the inside and outside of the prison as if he memorized the blueprint on the back of his head and the raft was assembled.
Currently, the fugitive is on the run and regarded as extremely dangerous with a handful of guns and rifles. Notices and Wanted posters describing his appearance have been published on the streets and warnings are made on the
