The piano is one of the most popular instruments in the world. Widely used in classical and jazz music for solo performances, ensemble use, chamber music and accompaniment. The piano was founded on earlier technological innovations. The first string instruments with struck strings were the hammered dulcimers.

Since then she has played all over the USA with many orchestras including the National Symphony, Boston Symphony Orchestra, Cleveland Orchestra and the Indianapolis Symphony. She has also earned a reputation as a specialist in Scriabin, having recorded all ten of his sonatas (for Connoisseur Society) along with other smaller works, and including this music frequently on her recital programs.
