Do you ever wonder why certain places mean so much to certain people? When I think of my bedroom, I realize why people are touchy about their rooms getting messed with. My bedroom is a place where I can relax and be comfortable. Another important reason is I can go there when I want some privacy; all I have to do is shut my door and lock it. My room holds almost all of my personal belongings and things are important to me and the most important thing, my desk.
When you enter our flat, the door opens onto a hallway, about seven feet long, that runs between the bedroom and the gests room .On the opposite side of this door stands a large (table-tennis) table, which concurs most of the free space in the small hall in front of my bedroom.
As you enter the bedroom, you will notice that it’s a medium size room which is not as big as my parent’s bedroom. The color on the walls is a soft egg shell white giving a warm feeling that helps me while studying or doing my work. In addition to that, pictures of my favorite players and actors hanging on the wall, pictures of me and my friends surround me from unforgettable memories. My black comfy bed standing in the middle of the room with its classic table lamp .Clothes are scattered across my dresser and perfumes right beside it. I’m not going to lie; it could be way neater, but it indefinitely suits my personality.
When I enter my room every evening, a calming sense comes over me. It’s my workplace, where I always do my work and studying, I’ve always stayed there for hours preparing for exams and doing long homework or even writing this essay. The room is filled with a lot of the things that are special to me and represent myself and my personality, these things holds some of my favorite memories, like gifts from friends and family members. It’s messy with things just lying in the shelf, books here and there, yet I know where everything is.
Being an independent person, I feel that privacy is essential for me
