My mentor is my mother for several reasons. She is always very kind to everyone she meets, I can come to her if I have a problem and she has many life experiences I can learn from. Day after day she works hard to provide for our family, making sure everyone is happy and taken care of. She listens when I talk to her and helps me get through rough times. She is a very strong cancer survivor and she loves me just as much as I love her.…
This paper overviews and compares the personality and characteristic differences between two men. Shamengwa and Corwin are the two men who are compared in this paper from the short story “Shamengwa.” They are compared for their differences, which they have a lot of things uncommon with each other. It also relates these two together by showing how they are both intrigued by the music in which the violin produces. They both play with their heart and play to the point where they make others cry. The paper also overviews how Shamengwa teaches Corwin how to play the violin for his punishment of stealing Shamengwa’s violin in the first place.…

Virtue ethics is agent-centred not act centred. The theory is that practicing virtuous behaviour will lead to become a virtuous person and contributing to a virtuous society. A virtue is habitually doing what was right – being good requires practice of a certain kind of behaviour. This is different from very other ethical theories because it looks at the characteristics of a person (agent-centred) rather than the actual act (act centred).…

I must say that it means a lot to me to be a Filipino. Being a true-blooded citizen of the Philippines, one must be able to serve this country with all his heart, mind and soul. Not only that, he must be a law-abiding citizen, and a good follower of the government. Most of all, a Filipino is God fearing who believes and trusts in Him.…
Cleverness, Uprightness, Humbleness and Patience, those traits are within you. You gratefully shared your knowledge to everyone who were dreaming for a prolific and a successful future. No one can reach each other's goals without having you leading their ways, guiding their minds, teaching what's right and helping them to dream on something that is bright. Indeed, according to a Great Teacher, Confucius- "It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.", because if you dream on something and really determined to aim it, you will surely realize that the teachings of our instructors are very important and will apply it in our lives.…

My best friend is Jo. We met when we were in high school, we have been friends for 5 years. We were called “conjoined twins”, back in high school, because whenever you see me, you could see Jo as well or vise versa. I discuss everything with Jo, I ask her for advice. Like one time, the was a English competition about giving a speech to a live audience in font of the whole school. Our English teacher nominated me for the contest, than I turn to Jo for advice. She told me what to do, in order not to feel nervous while getting on stage to deliver a speech. The comfort and support that she gave me was very useful, although I did not make it to the finals. Jo is a calm, diligent girl. She manages to deal with difficulties calmly and never panics, Jo can always find the right way to solve things. The reason we became best friends is because that I think we can give each other the support whenever and wherever the time we needed it. Even we graduated from high school, we still ask each other for advice and chat every night. Sharing funny things and sad thing that happened in college or in our daily life. I think we will still be best friends in the future, it just does not seem right without a friend like her.…

Not only did he teach me a lot of useful skills that I will definitely need in my academic life and future career, but he also nurtured the most positive features in me.…
