I am truly dedicated to improving my writing skills. Last summer I took an eight-week UC San Diego Extension course that focused on grammar. On June 1, 2016, I participated in a Fred Pryor workshop that focused on grammar and proofreading. I will continue to develop my writing skills every day and I am open to other workshops, seminars, or courses that will help refine my writing. It is important to me as a communicator that I have excellent writing skills.

I get to live my dream every day. My job combines both my passion for marketing and for health care. I am disappointed to find that some clients, team members and leadership perceive me to lack interest or engagement. I say some clients, team members and leadership because I have received both written and oral feedback from clients, team members and leadership praising me for the help I have given them on a project, for helping them bring and idea to life, for telling their story, or for creating collateral they can share with patients. Lack of engagement or interest is completely opposite of how I feel about the work that I do or the people I work with. I am extremely proud of the work that I do. I am also proud and grateful to able to work for a company that impacts the lives of people every day. It isn’t often that people feel their work touches the lives of others, but I am blessed to say that I actually do. I truly believe in The Sharp Experience and try to show that behavior with my clients, team members and leadership in every interaction. Paula mentioned that this is a “perception” and she doesn’t feel that this how I feel, which is true, but I am definitely open and willing to work towards changing the negative perception of me that some team members, clients and leadership have. If this perception is still held by team members, clients and leadership after changes I make changes, I would be open to meeting to discuss this with those people, this would be aligned with the Sharp Behavior Standard of All for One, One for
