My Definition Of Success Essay
Will Smith, a famous actor ,rapper, and producer once said, “ The first step is to say that you can.” To me, it means that you can't accomplish anything until you know you can do it yourself.

Success is being able to ignore and accept the fact that people envy you and they don't care about you only your money and who you are to other people and their opinions, it's also being able to be open minded and not blinded by how you got to where you are. My definition of success is similar to the dictionary’s definition. success as the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. I honestly think that my definition defines it better because I have more detail and connection.

I didn't know what I wanted to do with myself after high school whether I wanted to go to college or start working and making money. In my head I wanted to be something bigger but I didn't know if I was good enough, could I handle pressure, hard work, consistency, but I thought about it how could I want to be something big but I have no confidence. In order to be successful I have to know that I am able to take on that job and keep pride in myself and stay dedicated. After my mind process came to place I tried for myself to be positive and I tried out for the v show in my middle school, I was so nervous to perform my song I practiced and practiced and I didn't know if the audience was going to like it but I stayed positive

Another example is playing a video game, many people think success is when they pass a level, but other’s may think to beat their high score is a success. There are many ways that people define success and many people define it differently. There are three aspects of my life in which I would personally define my life as a success. The first aspect is education. If I can get through college and with great grades and the education I need for the job I want, then I will have defined my education as a success. The reason I will define this as a success is because of the fact that not everybody gets a chance at a college education and if I can still get that chance then I can define my life as successful. The second reason I will define this as a success is if the college education I want gets me a job I want then I can live a happy life. The second aspect in which I would define…
